AREATA

AREATA

Areata is especially related to autoimmune factors with its aggravation being influenced by the emotional state. Alopecia areata is characterized by rapid, partial or complete loss of hair in one or more areas of the scalp or in areas such as beard, eyebrows, pubis, etc. Hair regrowth can occur spontaneously in a few months, but in some cases the disease progresses, affecting the entire scalp (alopecia total) or the entire body (alopecia universalis).
