Dr. MIGUEL MATIAS
PLASTIC SURGEON AND AESTHETIC MEDICINE DOCTOR
With a degree in Medicine (bachelor's and master's) from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon, Dr. Miguel Matias specializes in Plastic Surgery.
In addition to his training in Portugal, his academic career also includes internships in London (United Kingdom) at St. Mary's Hospital, Imperial College, and in Oslo (Norway) at Lovisenberg Hospital, as well as several extracurricular internships carried out nationally and internationally.
In terms of his professional experience, he currently works as an Assistant Physician in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the Lisbon Central Hospital Center.
His career also includes various other activities, such as Monitor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon; Trainer and National Coordinator of the Specialty Academy; Project Coordinator of the National Congress of Interns in Common Year; and spokesperson for the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations. He is currently a member of the committee of the European Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
He has also had the opportunity to publish several scientific articles in various specialist journals and to intern at a prestigious aesthetic clinic in Marbelha.
