HENRIQUE CARDOSO

PROJECT MANAGER

Henrique graduated from the University of Beira Interior with a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2014. In December 2019, he obtained his PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Beira Interior through a PhD scholarship from the Foundation in Science and Technology (FCT), Portugal.



His professional career has always been related to medical and health sciences, in a first phase associated with the molecular biology of oncological pathologies and, later, already integrated in the IPF, in the field of biomaterials and maxillofacial surgery.

Currently, he has published 17 scientific papers (7 as first author), 2 in D1 and 4 in Q1 in journals indexed in ISI Web of Knowledge. He has co-authored one book chapter, 17 oral presentations (10 as first author) and 12 group presentations (3 as first author).

His motto is that excellence in research is the pillar of quality health for IPF patients, with continuous improvement from diagnosis to treatment.
