Specialized in Otorhinolaryngology, his training early focused on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the nose and sinuses, a subspecialty of Otorhinolaryngology called Rhinology. This was followed by an internship at the Academisch Medisch Centrum (Amsterdam, Netherlands), a European reference centre in the field of Rhinology, and several international courses in this area.
He primarily focuses on medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the nose, sinuses and neighbouring organs (eustachian tube, lacrimal pathway). His aesthetic and functional nasal surgery (rhinoplasty, septoplasty), using the latest endoscopic surgery techniques for the treatment of rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal tumours, eustachian tube dysfunction and tear pathology, are emblematic of his differentiation in this field.
He is part of the teaching staff of national and international courses on nasal sinus and skull base surgery. In recent years he has been invited to the international faculty for congresses on rhinology and general otorhinolaryngology. He was vice-president of the Junior Board of the European Rhinologic Society between 2016 and 2018.
